Our former student Melina Kleber is nominated for the finale of the CAST IT Security Award 2025 for outstanding thesis in the field of IT security and privacy. She will present her master thesis with the title “Investigating public attitudes towards data collection and use in Virtual Reality” in front of a jury in Darmstadt at the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology (SIT) on December 4. The results of her thesis were presented in Seattle at Usenix Security '25 earlier this year: >Paper.
