After a successful (digital) start of the WISC workshop in 2021, CASA (Cyber Security in the Age of Large-Scale Adversaries at Ruhr-Universität Bochum) organised a 3-day workshop for women in security and cryptography in June this year at the Jahrhunderthalle in Bochum, Germany. The program consisted of exciting talks from speakers and researchers from different fields of IT security and crypto, interactive workshops about scientific presentations and building allyships, lightning talks and poster presentations of the participants' research, and of course time to network. Emiram presented a poster about her current research on usable authentication in Virtual Reality: "It was a great experience, meeting so many inspiring women from all around the world and talking about interesting research topics in the field. Compliments to the great people from CASA for organising a successful and fun workshop!"
