This year, the traditional retreat of the Computer Engineering group took place in Bad Driburg on January 25-26. The retreat started with a half-day hike into the storm-devastated forests surrounding Bad Driburg, followed by a seminar spread over two half-days. During the seminar, the group analyzed and discussed its past performance and developed plans for the coming year. On the evening of the first day, six alumni joined the group for networking in a relaxed atmosphere and for lively discussions about career development and the value of doing a PhD.
